An online solar quote service, paired with a family-run Berwick installer that has been doing this for fifteen years.
SolarReach + GMC Solar
SolarReach is the online front. We use the Google Solar API to pull a 3D model of your roof, the UK Government EPC service to pull your real property data, and put both together to produce a property-specific solar quote in 60 seconds. No call centre. No site visit needed for the initial quote.
Installations are delivered by our partner GMC Solar, the solar division of GMC Developments Ltd. Founded in 1976 by George M. Craig and now run by Neil Craig, GMC added solar to its services in 2010. The roofing experience, electrical qualifications and scaffolding capability were already in-house, which made solar a natural fit.
Since 2010 GMC have completed over 200 solar installations. From 4-panel domestic systems on terraced houses to 150kW arrays on agricultural barns. No subcontractors. The same in-house team handles survey, install and switch-on.
GMC Developments Ltd is registered at 1 Longstone Court, Ramparts Business Park, Berwick-upon-Tweed, TD15 1FA. SolarReach uses GMC's customer-facing phone line (01289 304409) and email (info@gmcraig.com) so all enquiries reach the people who actually do the work.
