Terms of Service
Effective date: 2026-06-01
These terms govern your use of the SolarReach website and our online solar quote and lead qualification service. By using the site or submitting a quote enquiry you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. Who we are
SolarReach is an online solar quote and lead qualification service for homes in North Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. Installations are delivered by our accredited partner GMC Solar (GMC Developments Ltd), registered office 1 Longstone Court, Ramparts Business Park, Berwick-upon-Tweed, TD15 1FA. You can contact us at info@gmcraig.com or 01289 304409.
2. The service we provide
We help you request a solar panel quote. We collect details about your property and enquiry, look up publicly available property data on your behalf, and pass your enquiry to our installer partner GMC Solar so they can prepare a quote and contact you. SolarReach prepares an indicative assessment only. We do not carry out the installation, and we are not party to any contract you enter into with the installer.
3. Quotes and estimates
Any figures, savings estimates, system sizes, or solar potential shown on this site are indicative and based on third-party data such as the Google Solar API and UK Government EPC records. They are not a formal quote or a guarantee. A binding quote can only be provided by the installer after a site assessment. Actual performance, costs, and savings depend on your property and your energy use.
4. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate and complete information when you submit an enquiry
- Only submit your own contact details, or details you are authorised to share
- Use the site lawfully and not attempt to disrupt or misuse it
5. Intellectual property
The content, branding, and design of this site belong to SolarReach or its partners and are protected by law. You may view and use the site for your own enquiry but may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute its content without our permission.
6. Third-party services and links
The site relies on third-party services including Google, the UK Government EPC Open Data service, Supabase, Resend, and Vercel, and may link to external sites. We are not responsible for the content or availability of third-party sites and services.
7. Limitation of liability
The site and the indicative information it provides are offered on an "as is" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on indicative estimates, from the acts of the installer, or from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
8. Privacy
We handle your personal information in line with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page tells you when they were last changed. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the courts of England and Wales.
